Garden corner

I have planned to try to plant and grow a mini garden on my terrace. I read that some vegetables can grow quite happy in containers. So I will try to plant some vegetables and of course some of my beloved herbs.

I don't know much about growing vegetables but I believe this is going to be an interesting challenge for me. From what I have read I think I should start with planting some carrots and radishes.

The weather is still quite cold, so I think that maybe I should wait a bit longer - OR what do you think!?! If you have any tip or suggestion it would be very welcomed.

That is what I am planning to do as well. I am going to start with tomatoes and maybe some lettuce and herbs. It's time to get back to basics and start living off the land rather than going to the store for it. I am waiting for our weather to clear up more before I can start to plant. And it's going to be in containers. Good luck on the Gardening.

That is my idea too, growing instead of buying.

Hi Suzy,
I'd try some radishes. If they're successful you can serve them with butter and sea salt (like in France) and let me know how you do it since I can grow tomatoes and herbs but that's about it. I forget to water! I have been a not so good friend in checking in... have I been in a slump lately! I have to get caught up on all your posts. I know whatever you choose to grow will be wonderful. I'm dreaming of having those radishes with you in Café Français! xoxo~Tracie
